Assistant Director, LMS Support Services & Canvas Implementation Lead
Instructional Technologies, Office of Information Technology
I have a degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida and have been with Florida Atlantic University since 2009. I have a passion for working closely with instructors as they learn to use the LMS, push their technological skills, and find joy in making their life simpler with technology. I have been working with Instructors and Learning Management Systems (LMS) for over 13 years.
My entire career has been in education. I have worked as a Tae Kwon Do instructor, a First Grade teacher, and as a software trainer (specializing in Blackboard, Photoshop, and Google). My role as a manager has changed my daily activities a bit, I'm a bit more technical, more managerial, but I am no less passionate about my work. Teaching is truly something I love to do.
My current role in the Canvas Implementation/Rollout has been an exciting challenge and I look forward to assisting the instructors through the transition. I hope to see you at a Road Show, a Canvas Primer, an Open Lab, a Tech-Talk, or virtually through WebEx. If you see me walking down the breeze way, please feel free to stop and chat.
I love teaching, I love learning, I love technology, and I love being a part of a community that loves to engage, grow, evolve, and share.
